Rules and Regulations

  1. REGISTRATION
    1. No players are permitted to register after the deadline
    2. All registrations are on a "First Come, First Serve" basis
    3. Incomplete applications will not be accepted as reservation for the team and will be declined
    4. All players must be registered on one application for each team
    5. Each player is only permitted to register for one team
    6. Any team name regarding racial, sexual, or any other forms of discrimation will not be accepted nor tolerated.
  2. PLAYERS, TEAMS AND SPECTATORS
    1. Players must pay prior to entering the change room
    2. Players who do not donate will not be permitted to participate in the event
    3. Players must sign in by 9:00AM
    4. Teams cannot register new players after the team has been registered*
    5. Teams cannot exchange or add new players at the event
    6. Team cancellation must be given 48 hours notice prior to start of event
    7. Players violating any Sports Meet rules and regulations or University of Ottawa policies will be disqualified
    8. Players violating Federal and Provincial laws or City of Ottawa by-laws may/will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law
    9. All persons entering the gymnasiums must be wearing appropriate clothing and running shoes. High heels or boots will not permitted
    10. Any persons arriving at the event intoxicated will be asked to leave the premises
  3. FOOD AND BEVERAGES
    1. Food is not permitted in the gymnasiums
    2. Players who pre-ordered food must pay it with their admission fee
    3. No one shall sell any food or beverages during the event
    4. Any one found stealing food or beverages will/may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law
  4. VOLUNTEERS
    1. Cannot participate in the sports
    2. Must be non-bias
    3. Must enforce all Sports Meet Rules and Regulations and University of Ottawa Policies
  5. FIGHTS
    1. Any players involved in a fight with other players may/will be disqualified from the event without refund
    2. Any players involved in a fight with referees, volunteers or executive members will be asked to leave the premises and disqualified from the event without refund
  6. PROHIBITED ITEMS
    1. Drugs of any sort are fully prohibited**
    2. Alcohol is prohibited
    3. Smoking inside the building is prohibited

Any personnel that does not abide any the rules and regulations may/will asked to leave the premises and/or handed over to Protection Services.
